Bom Jesus: World heritage monument. Basilica of Bom Jesus built in16th century, lies the incorruptible remains of St. Francis Xavier, Kept in silver casket, is enshrined here. Dedicated to infant Jesus.
Se Cathedral: Its vaulted interior overwhelms the visitor by sheer grandeur. This is one of biggest in the world famous for golden bell. Archaeological Museum and Art gallery is also here.
Shri Mangueshi Temple: (add photo) Dedicated to Lord Shiva, build in the 16th Century. It is located on hillock surrounded by green hill; its lofty white tower at the entrance is a landmark.
Shri Shantadurga Temple: Dedicated to Shanta Durga-Goddess of peace, who meditates between Lord Vishnu. One of the richest temple.
Margao: (en-route) Commercial City of South Goa having National Stadium.
